Holiday Traditions

First off I would like to say happy holidays to everyone!
Christmas at my house means a few things. For starters it means that the kitchen will smell fantastic for almost the entire month (which it never a bad thing), It means that family comes to visit (which also means that my mom will be franticly cleaning) and last but not least, it means Christmas Eve at our friends house and presents on Christmas morning. These are my traditions. These are the things that make Christmas spectacular to me and it's funny how backwards any holiday feels when the traditions are broken. So my question to you this year is a two parter

1. What are you guys' traditions
And
2. What about those traditions makes Christmas (or any other holiday) feel special to you?

Comment below and let me know!

Nelson Mandela

"And they all said 'I'm sorry for your loss,' as if you were someone who could ever be taken from me." -Author Unknown

In today's world, those who choose a different path, dare to make a difference, or even those with a different skin color or sexuality are often ostracized or excluded. Nelson Mandela was a man who fought to change this. Even though he has moved on from this world to the next, his legacy will never be forgotten. Let us not grieve his death, but celebrate his life.

Setting up a Terraria server. (with out Himachi)

To begin, you'll need to know your Default Gateway. To find this, go to your start menu and open your Command Prompt (You can type cmd into your Windows 7 search bar). Next type in 'ipconfig' as seen below.

After you type in 'ipconfig' a new window will pop up.

(sorry for the crappy editing folks)
Find where it says "Default Gateway" and type that into your URL bar.

After you enter your Default Gateway into your URL bar you should get A pop-up that looks something like this

Now you might be freaking out right now because you probably have never set any password for anything like this before. Not to worry. Your default username should be admin and your password should be password. Secure right? If you password's not password, check on the bottom of your router and there should be a username and password printed on some sort of sticker.
Once you've successfully entered your username and password, you should be re-directed to your router's webpage, specific to your Default Gateway.

Now here's where it get's a little tricky, because the next steps vary from router to router. So, I'll show you how mine is, and if you have any questions, you can always Facebook me  https://www.facebook.com/stopdropandpanic

Next you're going to click on "Default settings"

Next click on "Virtual Server/ DMZ" (again it varies from server to server)

Click  "Add Virtual Server/ DMZ"

enter your "Default Gateway" in the space provided.
Next type 7777 in both the "Start Port" and the "End Port"

After this you should be ready to play!

Note: When other people are trying to join your server, they DO NOT use your default gateway.
Go to google.com and type in "what's my ip"
Have your friends enter your public IP adress as shown here.

Welcome!

Hi There, and welcome to my blog! As I said my blog is a little splash of everything. For My first post I thought I would tell you more about what you can expect from this blog.

Indie Games:  Now would be a good time to tell you that I'm not an avid gamer, so if that's what you're
looking for I'd look somewhere else. Having said that, I feel like I know my way around the world of gaming fairly well so you might see a post from time to time.

Music: As for as the music part of my blog is concerned, I'll be announcing new release dates as well as reviews and tour announcements. (Music is what I feel I know the most about and is where I feel you can expect to see the most posts)

As far as the "Anything" part of my blog, it really might be anything. A political rant, Polling Opportunities, More reviews (most likely about sound equipment) as well as other things that are apart of my life.
