Holiday Traditions

First off I would like to say happy holidays to everyone!
Christmas at my house means a few things. For starters it means that the kitchen will smell fantastic for almost the entire month (which it never a bad thing), It means that family comes to visit (which also means that my mom will be franticly cleaning) and last but not least, it means Christmas Eve at our friends house and presents on Christmas morning. These are my traditions. These are the things that make Christmas spectacular to me and it's funny how backwards any holiday feels when the traditions are broken. So my question to you this year is a two parter

1. What are you guys' traditions
And
2. What about those traditions makes Christmas (or any other holiday) feel special to you?

Comment below and let me know!

Nelson Mandela

"And they all said 'I'm sorry for your loss,' as if you were someone who could ever be taken from me." -Author Unknown

In today's world, those who choose a different path, dare to make a difference, or even those with a different skin color or sexuality are often ostracized or excluded. Nelson Mandela was a man who fought to change this. Even though he has moved on from this world to the next, his legacy will never be forgotten. Let us not grieve his death, but celebrate his life.
